Great food, an awesome venue to host an event and the servers are terrific. I attended the OWN Network Celebrity Party and it was an epic event!
Service is shakey. Food is delicious. Ate here twice this past weekend and the food was great both times. The first time the server forgot to bring change for a bill paid with cash even after saying he would come right back with it. The second time the server forgot the ordered drinks. They give you water first and then ask for your drink order. I think that made it really confusing to them whether you had just water or your actual drink. In the second case, the server didn't come back at all since the food was served until check out time. I will add that once told about the slip up, they fixed us to go drinks and didn't charge for them which was nice. So the service is far from perfect, but the food was delicious both times and I'd be willing to give it a third try next time.
I came in hoping to enjoy a nice brunch. I was sat at a table hidden behind a pillar. Over the next 10 minutes I was completely ignored by the staff who repeatedly walked past me even as I tried to get their attention. I wasn't even given a menu. The host was the only one who noticed and kept saying someone would come and help me but it never happened. I left and no one even noticed. It wasn't even busy in the restaurant. The food looked good but rendered totally moot by the completely inattentive and poorly trained staff.
Good breakfast here. Good strong coffee too. Beignets were a hit with our crowd as we had never had one. Staff was friendly and prompt. Will definitely stop again on my next visit. Pictures (Scramble with mixed potatoes, coffee & beignet )
Really liked the tuna with spinach, my wife enjoyed her burger. It was a bit noisy and chilly, though.
We had a great time at this restaurant. Troy was one of the most well mannered and polite gentleman we have encountered. Thanks for the amazing meal and superb service.
Decent food. Waiter was a little over the top. Nice decor but all in all probably wouldn’t visit again if I was in town. We just happened to walk by while exploring the city and decided to try it out
Good atmosphere. Great service. Good beer selection. Mediocre food. Not bad; not good. We ordered the voo doo oysters - the cheese sauce was too sweet. Next up Duck Nachos - cold chips and the barbeque sauce masked the duck. We ate it and had fun but not impressed.
Outstanding food & atmosphere!! This is the Legacy Craft Tavern so, it has a smaller menu than its main restaurant. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Salad and String Fries, simple dishes, but 5 star taste!! Staff was so friendly!! I’m going back!!!❤️
Breakfast was very good and arrived quick. The vegetarian breakfast is a good choice. The seared fish salad pictured below is a great healthy choice.
Great atmosphere, excellent food, and awesome staff. These things combine to form an experience that won't soon be forgotten. There really want anything bad to speak of in my excursion to Legacy. Our waiter, Robert, was attentive without hovering, and really only made a good experience better. Highly recommended!
It was $10 for the beignet breakfast sandwich. I was excited to try it but it seemed a little pricey. Boy was I wrong. The sandwich was huge and delicious. The eggs were fluffy. The beignet has a touch of sweetness. I dont eat bacon but if you do I'm sure that adds to the flavors as well. I highly recommend.
Great food, atmosphere, and service!
Here in new Orleans for a short vacation I have been to legacy kitchen two times every experience was awesome and atmosphere is very cool
Good food but I found it very slightly overpriced. But definitely a place to try.
The food was good. I ordered the Legacy Burger (mushroom and Swiss) at medium rare but it came out well done. Still it was tasty. My partner ordered the buffalo chicken salad, which he said was tasty.Unfortunately the service was incredibly slow. We were one of four tables in the entire restaurant, and it took us over 30 minutes to get our food. A group of 20 at one of the tables backed up the kitchen and the service speed, then they became rather noisy. We quickly paid our bill and left.
3 words...Crawfish and Beignets. Wow.
We came with a party of 14 so it was a lot, I know. But our waiter couldn't seem to get out checks correct. The food was good. Not fantastic but no complaints. The ambiance was super cute.
As a hotel attached restaurant this deserves a better rep. We came because it was available last minute on Christmas Day but were pleasantly surprised by the quality and prices. Highlights include the happy hour oysters and the fries.
The food here is delicious and the service is on point. I highly recommend the redfish. This place is not cheap by any means, but it's a great spot for date night.
Great Customer Service!!! We had 10 minutes to order. We asked if we needed to place the order to go and the server said no, the kitchen doesn’t close until 11:00. We were shocked!! Our food was served as if we had arrived earlier in the day. We were not rushed to eat. The restaurant was very accommodating. I really appreciate that level of customer service and there was no attitude of inconvenience.
We came here 4 times during our stay in New Orleans and always left happy. The service was excellent. Food was great. It was open on Christmas day too which was rare as all restaurants were closed. Unlike other reviewers, we found the food to have no salt added, which was great as other places overload with salt. The prices are reasonable considering the venue. Definitely recommend going.
Good service , good selection of food. Had all your NOLA favorites but some other options too. You can get all Cajuned out. Decent beer selection too.
Monchelle was attentive and very friendly, made a delicious meal into an unforgettable memory!I greatly enjoyed the Legacy Filet it was cooked to perfection! The shrimp portion in the Firecracker Shrimp Toss was more than enough.Thank you Legacy Kitchen for kicking off our weekend in New Orleans.
It was good bar food. We were really looking for something more, but this was good
Nice environment, we found tic tac toe to play while waiting on our food. Burgers ere delicious, crawfish beignet appetizers is an interesting and tasty experience. Happy hour cocktail werent my favorite, too sweet for my liking. Bartenders and hotess were very nice and friendly.
Best chicken and waffles EVER and their Arnold Palmer and sweet tea...true nectar for the gods!
The place is nice. I went there for breakfast. The coffee was really good although they spilled a good amount over the plate. They were out of hashbrowns but gave me fries instead. The whites omelette was ok. The beignets were really good. Service was mediocre.
We came here for a large group business lunch (23 people)! Service was decent and no issues with the kitchen. It was a Monday lunch, so thankfully not very busy so we were able to eat and get back to our meetings on time. I had the fried shrimp appetizer and seared ahi tuna salad (dressing on the side) which were both tasty
Had a decent breakfast here. Nothing spectacular. Maybe dinner would have been better. The atmosphere and decor was nice.
Good food. Good service. I liked it
Wesley caught us outside the building and invited us in... The grilled oysters were AMAZING!!! Stanley was amazing with his service he went above and beyond with suggestions on our New Orleans stay. We will be back in the morning for breakfast. Also the watermelon crawl is delicious
Can't even begin to describe the meal that we had the other night at Legacy Kitchen!! We had a friendly server and were quickly seated. My friend ordered the BBQ shrimp and Grits and was in heaven. She said it was one of the best meals she's ever had. I had a taste of it and yes it was absolutely amazing! I ordered the fried chicken sandwich with fries and it was extremely large and delicious.Drinks:As per usual in New Orleans the drinks here are strong!!! Great bartender.
Great food in awesome service
Bartender was great.
great happy hour from 3-6pm. The dusted wings are to die for and Danny was ery accommodating.
My steak was wonderful. Although they did forget the sauce, I was glad they did. The sauce took away from the steak. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Best meal I've had so far in New Orleans
My fiancé and I were in a hurry to find a place for dinner and we decided on Legacy Kitchen because it was not packed for a Sunday night and the decor looked very nice. With a maximum occupancy of 170 people but only three other tables of <4 people, it took a few minutes for our server to greet us with a carafe of water (but no glasses) and take our order. Well, we thought she was our server until a minute later another woman came to greet us and asked if our order was taken. We also had to ask for glasses for our carafe of water. We both ordered burgers medium-rare and we both received medium burgers. We didn't send them back since we were in a hurry. And because we were in a hurry, the "wait" for the server probably seemed longer than it really was. In spite of the incorrect done-ness of the burger, the staff were polite and the burgers still tasted good. The decor was nice and the restaurant had a lot of space. However, it was very empty for a Sunday night at 7:30pm....
Love this place. Beautiful inside, they had a shuffleboard table which I love! The drinks were amazing and the delicious. I did get pictures because after walking everywhere I was to hungry to wait. The chicken and waffles were wonderful as were the beignets. My favorite by far was the Legacy Burger.. OMG! The bartender Amy was very knowledgeable and sweet! Highly recommend

Nice atmosphere and good food, we had the fire shrimp, a burger and wings with fries. I do wish that the fries were cut a little larger. Overall, there are very limited choices. However, the waitress was attentive. Would go again.
Had a brunch here at 09:Hrs after having arrived to town in an early 6 o'clock in the morning flight.Nice vibe to it and the food was quite good.
Legacy Kitchen’s Craft Tavern. We had the crawfish begneit and the regular breakfast. Both were good. Nice ambience. Service good.
The red fish is just so impressive!
Amazing atmosphere, my daughter said it was a Hipster Cracker Barrel. The food was delicious and nice large servings.
An egg sandwich made between two lovely beignets is hard to beat
Cool ambiance with a rustic feel. Dinner menu has some great options, got the chicken and waffle and crawfish cornbread skillet.
We went here for brunch. Food was delish, service was super fast. The waitress could have been more friendly as she barely talked.
Chicken and Waffles were delicious.... the best!! However, our waiter was a little slow and nonchalant. I paid with cash .... my bill was $20 and some change, I gave him $25. I never said keep the change and he never asked if I wanted change. He brought me no change.!He just took it upon himself to keep my change as a tip. Was I gonna give him the change?? Yes I was, but I should be able to make that decision according to the service I receive. Really made my great meal turn sour!! Pretty “ballsy” of him.
